USA TODAY names The Brewery LBK best brewpub in the country
USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice 2021 has namedThe Brewery LBK as the Best Brewpub in the United States.
The distinction comes after a months long review of brewpubs from across the nation.
This is the second year in a row that The Brewery LBK was included in this select group of finalists but the first to take the top prize.
“The Brewery LBK would like to thank our wonderful family of supporters who helped make this happen and who continue encourage and support us on a daily basis,” said Head Brewer Sally Taylor.
“Being the sole brewery in Texas to make the final list was exciting but taking the top prize is more than we could imagine when we began this journey. This is just the beginning and we hope to continue serving our community for many years to come.
”
The top 10 winners in the category Best Brewpub are as follows:
The judges recognized several selections as favorites. The uniquely Lubbock Doc Chilton is a refreshing ale with lemon intensity that cuts through the West Texas heat, making it the quintessential Lubbock cocktail.
The house favorite LBK IPA, an easy drinking west coast style IPA, and the Breakfast Brown Ale were also recognized and previously placed among the top in its category at the Great American Beer Festival 2019 in Denver, Colorado.
