Now Lone Star Brewing has an agave hard seltzer in the competition

Texas favorite Lone Star Brewing enters the hard #seltzer competition with an agave brew.

A Texas favorite is entering the hard seltzer craze. Lone Star Agave Seltzers, in Agave Lime and Agave Watermelon, are available at San Antonio stores and bars now. The new Lone Star Brewing product is inspired by taste profiles that are known to Texans, the company announced Tuesday.

While the seltzer debuted with two flavors, Lone Star hinted that the line is "just the beginning of our Texas seltzer exploration." Don't try looking outside state lines —this seltzer is a Texas exclusive. The debut comes in the middle of a boozy buzz surrounding two other just-released seltzers. Cacti, an agave seltzer backed by Travis Scott, and the Topo Chico Hard Seltzer hit stores in recent weeks.

The new product will be available in six-packs of 12-ounce cans with a suggested retail price of  $8.99. Party of one? The Agave Lime will be available in 19.2-ounce single serve cans for $2.79 each.
